Angela Aibner Strode

I graduated from The University of Colorado Law School in 2009 and worked at a small litigation firm in Denver for 3 years. In 2012, my husband and I relocated to the western slope. I have been practicing family law exclusively since then.

My philosophy in family cases is to seek the best possible outcome for my clients through advocacy, while also recognizing the enduring relationships in families that often continue long past a divorce.

As a native of Rifle, I am well-versed in the unique dynamics of the Roaring Fork Valley area which can affect my clients’ cases. From the logistical challenges of travel, to the high cost of living, and the importance of activities like skiing and hunting in our culture, I am sensitive to the unique values of residents in our area.

Since 2012, I have also served as President of the 9th Judicial District Bar Association, President of Girls on the Run of Western Colorado, and Vice Chair of the Rifle Visitor Improvement Fund board. I have also coached the Rifle High School mock trial team and assisted with Family Law Days hosted by the Garfield County Courts. In my free time, I enjoy travelling and spending time outdoors with my husband and two young sons.
